The 81st STR Fishing Tournament released nearly 500 tarpon, provided over $14000 in cash prizes, and a large donation to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. What a season!

We’d like to take a moment to thank all of our sponsors and volunteers for their generosity. You helped us host a wonderful Kickoff Party at Bay Pines Marina, 10 great weeks of catch and release fishing, a great Finale Day and of course, the 2015 Awards Banquet.

The Suncoast Tarpon Roundup is a 501c non-profit organization, so all of the contributions received during the 2015 season are used for prizes or our annual donation to Pediatric Cancer. Additionally, our board is composed of volunteers – if you or someone you know is interested in joining the STR Board of Directors, feel free to contact us for information on our next meeting and open positions.

As we move into a new year, we’re ready to gear up for the next season with anticipation. We’re looking for ways to improve the 2016 season, and we would like your input. Contact us with your good ideas and lets make the 2016 Suncoast Tarpon Roundup better than the rest!
